A new Middle East Internet portal aimed at bringing automobile buyers and sellers together prepares to launch onto the web at the end of this month. The website provides information concerning the automobile market in the region, in addition to listing merchandise available by dealers and individual sellers for the benefit of car shoppers in an effort to facilitate their interaction.

“E-sayyarat is the first comprehensive portal of its kind in the region,” Ahmad Tantash, CEO of e-sayyarat, the company launching the portal. He added that the website would first target the Jordanian market and in the future expand to cover the Middle East and North Africa regions.

A tool that will make e-Sayyarat unique is Car Express. This is a quick method to locate a car, straight from the main page. Make, model, year, price, city, and country are entered to immediately receive a match. This service will cover both brand new and used cars with the same query.

Even though, not yet available, the site will provide car shoppers with access to loan information by submitting the price of a car and the terms of a loan required by the buyers from local banks. The site will also provide information about insurance, spare parts, and different kinds of services.

“Car dealers will have to pay to get their cars listed on the site,” said Tantash, adding that his company has already approached more than 80 dealers. Individuals can list their cars for sale free of charge for the first few months of the sites launching, he added. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
