Foreign investments and private loans in Morocco have gone down by 67.3% in Jan-Oct. 2004, compared to the same period of 2003 when they stood at MD 22.55 billion (US$ 2.3 billion). According to the Exchange Bureau, furing the first three quarters of 2004, Morocco attracted MD7.37 billion in foreign investments and private loans, reflecting a significant drop compared to the annual average of MD16.68 billion (US$ 1.7 billion) reported during 1999 to 2003.
