The Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Farncis Mayer is scheduled to visit Cairo later this month, reported Al-Hayat . During his visit, Mayer is expected to sign a finance agreement with Egypt. The EIB will contribute 80 million euros ($69 million) to finance the construction of a new metro railway in Cairo. The EIB provided $186 million worth of financing to Egypt last year, most of which funded energy projects. — (menareport.com)
