Jordanian Free Zones Corporation has confirmed its participation in the forthcoming Free Zone Investment initiative, produced in association with the World Federation of Free Zones (FEMOZA).

Jordanian Free Zones Corporation has undertaken the venture in order to promote itself globally and to publicize its advantages to companies wishing to trade in the region.

Free zones are considered a key government tool for development in Jordan, with special laws and regulations applied differently from those applied in the remaining parts of the state, with exemptions and facilities qualifying it to be an investment attraction area and developing the export industries and international trade exchange.

The partnership will give Jordanian Free Zones Corporation access to promote themselves to 32,000 companies via a weekly email newsletter, as well as via a project website. The project will be geared around a bi-annual review to be published in February, which will comprehensively cover all issues and developments within the free zone arena, and advocate free trade opportunities, export promotion and international business development. — (menareport.com)
