The Free Trade Agreement between Bahrain and the US will take effect on June 1. The Bahraini Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr Hassan Fakhro, told the Chamber of Deputies Tuesday that some provisions of the laws concerned would be amended to satisfy FTA requirements, the Bahrain Tribune reported.
To implement the agreement on time, six bills concerning copyright, trademarks and intellectual properties were reviewed and approved Tuesday.
