GAC Bunker Fuels has opened a new office in Cairo, to better serve vessels transiting the Suez Canal and plying cargo trade at Ain Sukhna in the Gulf of Suez. The office is a joint venture between GAC Bunker Fuels BVI and GAC Egypt.
With the new set-up, customers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can now benefit from even wider bunker supply services in the Middle East network.
The new office became officially operational on April 1, 2004. Its bunker supply services to ships at Egyptian ports will further enhance GAC's bunker activities around the world, coordinated by a network of offices already established in the UAE, the UK, South Africa, and Singapore.
Estabished in 1956, GAC's core business covers three key areas – shipping, logistics and marine services. The company's corporate head office is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and employs more than 5,000 people worldwide. — (menareport.com)
