Gargash Enterprises a Mercedes-Benz General Distributor in Dubai has supplied 130 buses to Dubai Municipality valued at an estimated 60 million Emirati dirhams ($16.3 million).
The Mercedes Conecto o345 City Bus is the latest addition to Dubai's public transport system. With a capacity of 50 persons and over, Dubai Municipality will initially use the new fleet to transport the 14,000 delegates expected to arrive in Dubai during the World Bank Group/IMF Annual Meetings in September.
Following the World Bank Group/IMF Annual Meetings, the buses will go into general service on normal routes under the administration of the Dubai Transportation Department. — (menareport.com)
