The second Gulf-Indian Businessmen Conference was opened in the Sultanate of Oman earlier this week. Representatives of the Ministries of Commerce and Industry and companies from the GCC and India took part in this two-day conference, according to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
Addressing the Conference, the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Kamal Nath, said that the value of India's exports to the Arabian Gulf States amounted to $10 billion in the period April 2004 until March 2005.
According to Nath, the value of India's imports from the Arabian Gulf States amounted to $7 billion in the period April 2004 until March 2005.
