Genius Computer Technology (GCT), Kye's regional distributor in the Middle East and Africa, will be demonstrating all their Genius peripherals at Gitex this year. The team at GCT will be supported by Alex Lee, VP from Kye Systems, who is visiting the region for the first time.

GCT is setting up four separate Genius demo stations—one for networking products including a DSL modem and Gigabit Ethernet switches, one for multimedia featuring the range of speakers and other audio and imaging products, one dedicated to digital cameras and the fourth will show the benefits of a wireless office. Demonstrations are scheduled to run every two hours.

“We strongly feel that the existing trend for wireless will get stronger next year and that this is where SMB and enterprises should be looking to invest in the near future,” said Milad Jabbour, managing director of GCT.

GCT will use the Gitex platform as a launch pad for its sister company, Shazar Distribution, dedicated to supply and distribute a range of consumables in the region not already covered by Genius in the area. The company will have its own set up and range of products include Nashua storage media products for the moment.

Genius Computer Technology, established in 1997 as Genius Computer Trading, is a Middle East supplier for computer hardware and accessories. They are the authorized distributor for Genius PC Systems in the Middle East and Africa, with its complete range of accessories and applications from the Genius line including fax modems, networking hardware, multimedia, speakers, scanners and mice. — (menareport.com)
