Germany has granted Egypt $105 million for the development of various infrastructure projects, reported the London-based Al-Sharq Al-Awsat.
An official source disclosed that the German aid comes in light of the strengthened ties between the two countries, adding that the establishment of several joint projects in Egypt has been discussed during a meeting of the bilateral commission held last week in Germany.
Fourteen German firms are currently seeking partners in Egypt and other Middle East countries, according to a German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce statement, cited by the Middle East Times.
The chamber plans to organize trade exhibitions for the German firms to showcase their products in Cairo and Alexandria, as well as provide marketing, promotional consultation and market analysis. — (Mena Report)
