Germany's Kempinski wins managing contract for Resort Mall of the Emirates

Germany's Kempinski Hotels & Resorts has been awarded the management contract for a hotel at Majid Al-Futaim Investments' Resort Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

 

This is Kempinski's first hotel in Dubai and is scheduled to open in September 2005, coinciding with the opening of the mall.The five-star hotel features over 400 suites, including 24 duplex ski chalets offering views over the Middle East's first indoor ski resort.  

 

The Mall of the Emirates will include over 2.4 million square feet of shopping, leisure and entertainment space, a Carrefour hypermarket, two major department stores, a 14-screen multiplex cinema with VIP facilities and numerous food and beverage outlets. 

 

Kempinski's portfolio comprises luxurious properties in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Asia. The chain’s first facility in the region was the 187-room Ajman Kempinski Hotel Resort in the UAE, which opened in 1998. — (menareport.com)
