Nakheel, the UAE's leading property developer, yesterday welcomed Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Ghana Vice President to the Nakheel Sales Centre, where he praised Nakheel's projects "as highly impressive" and "courageous."
The ten strong delegation, led by Alhaji Aliu Mahama, was greeted by James Wilson, Chief Executive Nakheel and Manal Shaheen, General Manager VIP Sales. The group were treated to a tour of the Nakheel Sales Centre, including a look at the project models, the trunk of The Palm Jumeirah, and a theatre presentation about Nakheel's developments such as the The Palm, The World and Dubai Waterfront.
Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Vice President Ghana said, "These projects illustrate the outcome of what man can do for humanity. What we have seen here today is highly impressive; you need great courage and extraordinary vision to do such a job."

The Vice President is in Dubai to help bolster bilateral ties between Dubai and Ghana.
Trade between Dubai and Ghana has risen dramatically in recent years, with two-way trade between Dubai and Ghana reaching AED 267 million in 2004; the total value of Dubai's exports and re-exports to Ghana reached AED 220.6 million in 2004, while Dubai's imports from Ghana AED 46.2 million.
