Glitter, glamour and fashion’s most luxurious product lines unveiled at Emirates Millionaire Show 2006

.H. Sheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, The Chamberlain of the Presidential Court earlier today opened the first Emirates Millionaire Show (EMS 2006) during an exceptionally alluring ceremony held at Emirates Palace, also the venue for the three-day show.

The premier regional showcase for global luxury brands, organised by Divine Events, is taking place under H.H. Sheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, patronage and with the support of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce. The opening ceremony was attended by H.H and a gathering of the region’s VVIPs, celebrities and special guests.

Bahare Majd, the Managing Director of Divine Events, said: “The moment has come for everyone to take an up-close-and-personal look at the latest luxury lines by the world’s most exclusive super brands.

Emirates Millionaire Show 2006 is a three-day glamour and glitter extravaganza that offers visitors a rare opportunity to witness the premiere of Lamborghini Gallardo and the Murchielago LP640. Lamborghini cooperated with ASUS to launch the ASUS-Lamborghini VX1 which enables multitasking computing and provide fast processing performance that exceeds desktop level.

Paolo Bongia launches a new luxury collection during the show. The world’s largest widescreen TV will be unveiled by electronics giant Panasonic and Interstuhl will present the world’s most expensive office chair which according to the manufacturer is a response to the special needs of discerning clients.

GoldVish the ultimate luxury mobile phone makes a spectacular entry to the Middle East this weekend. The 18k gold cell phone is made with the precision and craftsmanship of the traditional watchmakers in Switzerland; each of one of the limited edition items is finished by hand and set with VVS1 diamonds.

Thursday’s programme will see a variety of fashion shows, jewellery exhibits and shows. The first day of the Emirates Millionaire Show 2006 will be concluded at a gala dinner with a select guest list.
