US-based Globecomm Systems, a global provider of end-to-end satellite-based communications solutions, was awarded a subcontract from Bechtel National in support of USAID's Iraq Infrastructure Reconstruction Program.
Under the terms of the subcontract, Globecomm will implement an International Gateway in Iraq to provide voice, fax and data services via satellite.
Globecomm Systems’ core business provides end-to-end value-added satellite-based communications solutions. This business supplies ground segment systems and networks for satellite-based communications, including hardware and software to support a wide range of satellite systems.
