Depending on where the gold comes from, Jordan imposes a variety of taxes and fees. For example, locally sourced gold is tax-free and subject to a branding fee ranging from JOD 0.25 to JOD 0.4 per gram. However, imported gold is subject to a branding fee of JOD 0.7 per gram.
