ALBAWABA – Google added generative AI to its search tool for users in India and Japan, Alphabet said on Wednesday, as the competition intensifies between Google’s Bard and Microsoft’s Bing, Reuters reported.
Meanwhile, Microsoft-back OpenAI is reportedly on track to make one billion dollars in sales revenue by end of this year as the company launches its corporate version of ChatGPT.

Japanese users will be able to use the feature in their local languages, while it will be available in English and Hindi in India, according to Reuters.
This feature was first launched in the United States and was only this week rolled out in India and Japan.
Google's search feature was designed to help users seek information, such as locating something to purchase. It is different from its chatbot Bard, which has a persona that can hold human-like conversations to, for instance, generate software code.
