ALBAWABA - Google has revealed its intention to delete unused Gmail accounts from December onwards.

Google had issued a warning about implementing a policy to delete inactive Gmail accounts, which would not be enforced until December of the current year. The deletion would affect accounts unused for at least two years, and users were advised to follow simple steps to avoid this action.

According to Google, these measures will not impact data associated with calendar applications or images linked to the email accounts. Instead, the deletion will focus on Gmail accounts and their associated archived data.

Google assures users that multiple notifications will be sent via email or to backup email accounts linked to the Google account before the deletion of any Gmail account, as reported by Ixbit.
