ALBAWABA - Google is testing a new feature in its Chrome browser for desktop computers that allows users to convert text into speech, enabling them to read articles without any advertisements.
Additionally, there is an ongoing test for a high-quality voice reading feature in Chrome, where the feature essentially reads the entire article aloud.
While many browsers and applications, such as "Pocket," possess this feature, Google is currently introducing it to the Chrome browser through the "Chrome Canary" channel on desktop computers, as reported by "aitnews."

When opening an article in the reading mode within the "Chrome Canary" version on a computer, a new option appears. Users can click on the play button at the top of the visible article in the reading mode to have Google read the article aloud.
The website suggests that the high-quality voice reading feature in Chrome might take some time before it becomes fully functional for regular use. In the meantime, Chrome extensions can be utilized to add similar voice reading capabilities, until the company officially provides them.
