Gulf Air announces summer season flights to Alexandria

Gulf Air has announced the commencement of flights to Borg Al-Arab in Alexandria Egypt from June 18, as part of its summer schedule. According to the new summer schedule, which is in effect till September 14, Gulf Air will operate two weekly direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Alexandria. 

 

The city offers a wide range of leisure and cultural opportunities to tourists from the Gulf, and is also featured in the recently launched World Experience program, which as a one-stop total travel package includes flights, airport transfers, hotel accommodation and car hire. 

 

“The additional flights offered as part of summer schedule will serve this important group of people as they return home to be with their families for the summer,” said John Butler, vice president marketing and sales at Gulf Air. 

 

Gulf Air’s network stretches from Europe to Asia and covers 43 cities in 32 countries. Gulf Air was founded in 1950. Today, it is owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The airline’s network extends from Europe to Asia and the fleet is one of the most modern in the Middle East and comprises 30 aircraft.
