With effect from June 18, Gulf Air will operate three direct weekly flights to the ancient city of Mashad in Iran. The flights, which will operate, from Bahrain to the holy city using A320 aircraft, will continue in effect till September 14, according to the summer schedule.
Gulf Air’s network, which stretches from Europe to Asia and covers 43 cities in 32 countries, is subject to ongoing expansion, with a focus on providing daily flights to all key destinations, and operating on a city pairs basis out of the closest departure gateway.
Gulf Air was founded in 1950. Today, it is owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The airline’s fleet is one of the most modern in the Middle East and comprises 30 aircraft. The airline is in its first year of a three-year strategic recovery program. — (menareport.com)
