Gulf Business Machines (GBM) has conferred Business Partner status on Technical Electronics Instruments and Supply Company (Tectron) of Kuwait. Under the terms of the agreement, Tectron will provide IBM Point-of-Sale hardware and software solutions to its retail customers in the country.

At a signing ceremony held recently, Jozef Ondas, General Manager of GBM's branch in Kuwait, Khorafi Business Machines (KBM), officially welcomed its 24th international Business Partner.

The IBM offering will complement Tectron's existing retail portfolio, which is mainly marketed under the Bizerba brand. As part of the agreement, the company will also fulfill service obligations on IBM products it installs.

GBM is the largest locally situated Information Technology (IT) solutions and service provider for local, regional and international businesses and governments in the Gulf countries, excluding Saudi Arabia. — (menareport.com)
