Gulf Extrusions Co., one of the largest aluminum extrusion plants in the Gulf, recently completed 27 years of successful operations in the Middle East. The company marked its 27th anniversary by renewing its pledge to vigorously carry on its tradition of top-quality aluminum production that conforms to international specifications.

Gulf Extrusions holds the ISO 9001 certification for Quality Management System and the ISO 14000 certification for Environmental Management Systems, besides being a recipient of the QUALANOD and QUALICOAT quality labels.

"An unwavering commitment to quality has been at the core of Gulf Extrusions' operations, and is the primary reason behind the company's emergence as the leading extrusion plant in the Gulf region. With a team of highly qualified personnel, over 7,000 designs and an output of 30,000 tons per annum, Gulf Extrusions is suitably equipped to meet diverse customer requirements," Modar Al Mekdad, General Manager, Gulf Extrusions, said.

"We would like to thank our team of dedicated and professional employees, who have been vital to the remarkable success the company has achieved. Equally, we would like to express our gratitude to our valued customers and partners, for the firm support they have given us over the years. We consider the trust they repose in us as our greatest asset, and will strive to jointly scale greater heights in the coming years," Al Mekdad added.

Gulf Extrusions, part of the Al Ghurair Group of Companies, is strategically located in close proximity to DUBAL (Dubai Aluminum Company Ltd), its raw material supplier, and is just minutes away from Jebel Ali Port . The company produces over 7,000 profiles, ranging from architectural sections to components for household items, AC grills and customised products. Gulf Extrusions also extrudes products of several European suppliers and companies under agreement.

Nearly 70 per cent of the output generated by Gulf Extrusions is used in the local market to support the building and construction projects. The export markets include South East Asia, GCC countries, Europe and Canada.

"Gulf Extrusions is dedicated to deliver high-quality and cost-effective products and services tailored to meet specific customer needs. We will endeavour to build upon the success achieved over the last 27 years to set new standards in aluminum production," Al Mekdad concluded.
