Gulf Indonesia Resources Ltd. announced today the results of the second test of the Bukit Tua-1 oil discovery in the Ketapang Production Sharing Contract (PSC) area, located offshore East Java.
A test of perforations between 6,346 and 6,386 feet flowed at a stabilized rate of approximately 4,450 barrels of oil per day through a 1-inch choke.
As previously announced, the initial test of a cased interval between 6,466 and 6,488 feet flowed at a stabilized rate of approximately 2,800 barrels of oil per day through a 1-inch choke.
