Saudi networking solutions provider, Gulf Stars Computer Systemshas achieved the highest certification from Cisco, becoming the first local company in the Middle East to achieve Cisco Gold Partner certification.

Gulf Stars recently merged with two other leading IT companies in Saudi Arabia, Al-Faisaliah Electronic Services (AES) and Al-Faisaliah Advanced Systems Technology (FAST) to create Ebttikar Technology Company, an IT powerhouse in the region. The Cisco Gold Certification is a result of close cooperation between the three companies.

Gulf Stars has been a Cisco partner for more than 10 years and was the first Saudi company to partner with Cisco in the Kingdom. To achieve Cisco Gold Certified Partner status, Gulf Stars undertook a focused effort to increase the level of both Cisco sales and support training within its organization. It also demonstrated a strong capability to provide comprehensive customer support and has more than 120 network engineers, of which 70 are Cisco certified engineers and eight Cisco Certified Internetwork Experts (CCIEs). — (menareport.com)
