Gulf Ventures, the destination management unit of MMI Travel (Maritime and Mercantile Ltd.) has reported an increase in the number of holiday packages into Dubai, in the wake of an international advertising campaign and the launch of special holiday packages for in-bound tourists.

The company's range of pre-packaged services proved key factors in attracting inbound travelers into booking their United Arab Emirates (UAE) holidays with the company, according to Maryanne Boyers, Gulf Ventures manager.

”Undoubtedly, the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) continues to grow in global allure, attracting more than 1.2 million visitors into the UAE. Dubai is also, increasingly making a mark as a coveted MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) destination," she said, adding “this year has proven exceptionally successful for Gulf Ventures.”

Recording a significant growth in the company's in-bound bookings, in comparison to the same (DSF) period last year, Boyers said that the company had prepared for the season months in advance, by advertising their services internationally and by creating a range of special tours and holiday packages for regional visitors, inclusive of rooms and sightseeing tours.

"Gulf Ventures offers a full destination management service covering hotel bookings, airport transfers, ground transport and a daily program of tours and activities with multilingual guides, details of which are made available to both, international and local enquiries,” Boyers said. She noted that the three most popular elements of Gulf Ventures' inbound holidays are safaris, dhow cruises and city tours.

Gulf Ventures caters to local, regional and international customers who seek holiday, business and incentive travel services in/into Dubai. The company runs two desert campsites at Al-Aweer and has a fleet of desert driving and sightseeing vehicles. Gulf Ventures has established international partnerships with the Thomson Group, the First Choice Group, The Representation Company and TCC Germany. — (menareport.com)
