Batelco Jordan, a Batelco Bahrain Group subsidiary, announced lately the joining of. Ihab Hinnawi as its new Chief Executive Officer. This announcement comes as part of Batelco Jordan fortifying its strategy at strengthening the group’s vision of regional expansion and local economy development.

Hinnawi joined Umniah as part its founding team in Sept, 2004, with more than 17 years of experience in a number of organizations in the industrial sector. Hinnawi's experiences range from finalizing ground-breaking deals, restructuring of large companies, to conducting full feasibility studies to create and develop new operations and facilities locally and internationally
In his capacity as Operations Director at Umniah, Hinnawi led the restructure of the sales and customer service operation departments in line with the company’s vision. He was instrumental in designing Umniah's launch marketing plan and planned and created the product and service portfolio. Hinnawi also was mastermind behind a system for the sales and marketing departments. His role in Umniah acquiring Jordan's first FBWA (Fixed Broadband Wireless Access( license was quite commendable
