Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today it is celebrating 30 years in Saudi Arabia. This significant achievement and long history in the Kingdom is being celebrated with a gala dinner for customers and partners at the Sunset Beach Resort, Al Khobar.
Having been present in the Middle East since 1946, Honeywell continues to expand its business in the region delivering products and services across a number of industries including oil and gas, power, life sciences, construction, and pulp and paper.
Speaking at the event, Paul Orzeske, vice president and general manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Honeywell Process Solutions said, “With our continued presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia we are demonstrating our long-term commitment to the country and the entire region. In Saudi Arabia we have achieved many firsts including winning the world’s largest instrumentation contract in 1976 for ARAMCO and providing the largest ever building control systems for the King Khalid Military City which began in 1981.”
