Most owners of PCs use only a fraction of the computing power available to them, according to HP and Intel. The two industry leaders have teamed up to showcase to Middle East PC users the possibilities presented by their most under-worked home appliance.

The Big Bang Road Show started in Abu Dhabi last month and has traveled to Riyadh, Jeddah and continues its tour this weekend in Dubai's City Center on December 19 until the 21.

HP and Intel representatives will demonstrate a wide range of applications including educational, PC gaming, video editing, music editing and graphics solutions.

Visitors to the Big Bang Road Show stands can speak directly to the representatives and see for themselves how such products as the Compaq EVO, the Presario and the HP Workstation 2100 can combine effectively, together with such products as digital cameras, mobile phones, printers and scanners.

Representatives will also demonstrate how to use an ultra-light notebook or iPAQ connected to a portable or mobile printer. PC users will be shown how to take high-quality images using Photosmart Cameras and transfer these to quality prints within minutes.

Visitors interested in Image Editing will learn how easy it is to scan and edit pictures. These demonstrations are designed to offer users tips and practical advice on how to maximize the computing power available to them. — (menareport.com)
