HP has launched a new scheme to support United Arab Emirates (UAE) nationals wishing to join the workforce. The scheme will sponsor 10 nationals to undertake a Business and Technician Educational Council (BTEC) training program to develop and polish their theory, techniques and skills in business administration and business English.
Speaking at the launch of the scheme Joseph Hanania, regional general manager, HP Middle East said, “HP is actively looking at ways to support and open doors for UAE Nationals within the local workforce. Our current strategy to foster local talent through training schemes, such as a BTEC Certificate, aims to provide deserving students with the necessary skills to qualify for jobs within global companies such as HP”.
HP is collaborating with the Abu Dhabi based National Human Resources (NHR) company to run this training scheme. The program conforms to rigorous standards and is Edexcel accredited by the Business and Technician Educational Council (BTEC) in the UK. — (menareport.com)
