HP Middle East will have a major presence at Gitex 2002, through the largest stand space reserved by participating Information Technology (IT) companies, at approximately 400 square meters.
This will be the first major event of HP in the Middle East following the merger with Compaq and constitutes an important platform to demonstrate the expanded breadth of its solutions. HP will also host the HP ‘Solutions Village' as a highlight on this year's stand, presenting live demonstrations of enterprise solutions that are currently installed in leading organizations around the Middle East.
“The fact that we now have the largest employee base in the Middle East, including the largest IT consulting team, is evidence of our commitment to the region and our influence in the industry,” commented Joseph Hanania, HP Middle East general manager. “The increased stand area will enable us to showcase our capability across a range of areas and industries.”
These solutions will be run in conjunction with six HP partners from around the region: Tibco from Saudi Arabia, Egypt Cyber Centre in Egypt, Digital Globalsoft, Granite from the UK, ENOC in Dubai and Schlumberger in Abu Dhabi.
