HP to have major presence at Gitex 2002

Hewlett Packard (HP) Middle East will have a major presence at Gitex 2002 which kicked off today, through the largest stand space reserved by participating Information technology (IT) companies, at approximately 400 square meters. 

 

HP will display a full set of solutions for enterprise customers, small to medium-sized businesses and home users. This will be the first major event for HP in the Middle East following the merger with Compaq and constitutes an important platform to demonstrate the expanded breadth of its solutions.  

 

HP will also host the HP ‘Solutions Village’ as a highlight on this year’s stand, presenting live demonstrations of enterprise solutions that are currently installed in leading organizations around the Middle East. The Village will offer visitors to the stand the chance to view demonstrations of specific solutions relating to the finance, telecommunications, oil and gas and government sectors.  

 

HP is a global provider of products, technologies, solutions and services to consumers and businesses. The company's offerings span information technology (IT) infrastructure, personal computing and access devices, global services and imaging and printing. HP completed its merger transaction involving Compaq Computer Corporation this past May. 

 

HP has been present in the Middle East since 1968, and opened its Dubai based regional office in 1997 and has offices in Dubai, Ramallah, Cairo, Riyadh, Jeddah and Khobar servicing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Levant and Egypt. — (menareport.com)
