HP in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) announced broad-reaching trade-in programme for both HP’s and other vendors’ storage technologies. The program targets customers wishing to consolidate their storage infrastructures or simply upgrade to HP’s StorageWorks EVA (Enterprise Virtual Array) storage virtualisation technology.

Combined with the recently announced storage financing options from HP Financial Services, the trade-in programme provides customers with simple, easy adaptability to the latest technologies and greater return on their Information Technology (IT) investments.

HP has already sold several EVAs to customers in the Middle East for their mission/business critical applications that need 24x7 operations, according to a company press release. HP is a global provider of products, technologies, solutions and services to consumers and businesses.

The company’s offerings span IT infrastructure, personal computing and access devices, global services and imaging and printing. HP completed its merger transaction involving Compaq Computer Corporation in May 2002. — (menareport.com)
