Delivery delays are hoped to be reduced during the year 2005, according to Hyundai representatives quoted in the Algerian press as they expressed hopes of a bumper year for the up and coming Korean car maker with a target sale of 20,000 cars.

Additionally, the car maker hopes to concentrate on improving its service record in a country where service is becoming more important to car owners.

The Algerian operation is run by Hyundai Motor Algérie (HMA) which has already enjoyed a rapidly increasing sales success rate.
