IBM and United Business Machines (UBM.com), IBM's business partner in Jordan and Palestine, brought a new class of e-business server technology to Jordan through the iSeries Roadshow, stated a press release.
The iSeries brings IBM's mainframe and midrange-computing technology to bear for Jordanian customers a hardware platform integrated with a database and e-business software applications. Its eServers are integrated application servers that enable businesses to turn their existing applications into Web-based applications without having to change the whole back-end infrastructure.
“UBM.com serves more than 20 iSeries customers in Jordan and Palestine. More than 700,000 iSeries systems have been installed in over 150 countries…The largest iSeries model can serve up to 4000 users concurrently and is used in all industries,” said chairman of UBM.com, Mustapha Rugibani.
UBM.com is the only business partner for the entire range of IBM products and services in Jordan and Palestine. UBM.com also partners with Lotus, DIEBOLD, JD Edwards and CISCO.
