A new air traffic contract has been signed between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Iceland, reported Iceland Review.
According to the agreement, airlines operating in both countries will have unlimited rights to lease out aircraft and operate scheduled flights to and from each country. The deal is also expected to open the Middle East aviation market to Icelandic air carriers.
Iceland has two major airlines, Air Atlanta Icelandic and Icelandair. The charter Iceland Express organizes and manages daily scheduled flights between Iceland, Denmark and the UK. — (menareport.com)
