In its efforts to provide the most efficient and best environmental services, Imdaad, the high-end facility management service provider under Dubai World, announced more investment in its fleet to match the growth in business and the need for environment-friendly services. By increasing the fleet size, it aims to reaffirm its leadership in the facility management sector.
The expansion of the fleet will include more number of Compactors and other service vehicles.
Mr. Mahmood Rasheed, Executive Director, of Imdaad Environment said the focus on fleet expansion is part of the company’s drive to keep pace with the increase in business. “Imdaad is taking up several new projects related to facility management. This is a reflection of the rapid growth of the industry and the scope for overall development. We are committed to meet the best service requirements in all areas of our operations. A bigger fleet with more Compactors will enhance our service quality,” he added.
Imdaad presently has a fleet size of 106 vehicles, including tipper truck, skip loader, dump truck, tipper truck with crane, double cabin pick up, sand sweeping machine, beach cleaner, bus, tanker and compactors.
Compactors are the most in demand, particularly in waste collection and disposal services. They are used to reduce the volume of waste being generated in large commercial establishments and communities, hence avoiding waste scattering, overflowing and prevents pest infestation. Currently, Imdaad has 15 compactors with a capacity of 26 cubic meters each. These vehicles also reduce collection cost due to increased coverage in a short span because of its high carrying capacity. The use of compactors ensures easy waste handling and enhances safety and security.
Compactors are now being used in Jafza, DP World, International City, Dragon Mart, the Palm projects, Water Front, The Gardens, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, Garden View Villa and other clients.
Imdaad has a proven record of providing value-added services that adhere to highest environment protection standards. The company’s operation covers the entire Dubai World group, including Nakheel, Jafza, DP World – UAE Region, Dubai Customs, Limitless and Tamweel.
