IMF directors said Wednesday, November 28 they had cleared Turkey to draw three billion dollars immediately under an existing program, following a review of its economy. International Monetary Fund directors signed off on a review of the Turkish economy, which is being supported by a three-year stand-by IMF credit, the Fund said in a statement.
"The board's decision will enable Turkey to draw ... about three billion dollars immediately from the IMF," it said. — (AFP, Washington)
