Voice, data and mobile developer Inclarity is providing new international gateway services for mobile subscribers in Northern Iraq's largest metropolitan area, Mosul, stated as press release.

Inclarity's International Gateway will carry inbound and outbound international traffic for the region. Since winning the contract, only a few weeks ago, Inclarity's solution has already been designed, planned and implemented.

Inclarity's gateway connects remote destinations to the world over a satellite space segment back to Inclarity's international, Tier 1, Telco Grade switching network. The satellite link is ideal for places like Mosul, where terrestrial links do not exist and microwave communications are not possible, due to surrounding mountainous terrain.

Inclarity is collaborating with its partner Asia Cell, one of the three service providers with a GSM license in Iraq. Over the past five years the subscriber base has expanded from just a few thousand to well over 70,000 subscribers in Sulaymaniyah and recently in Kirkuk. It is anticipated that within a year Asia Cell will be awarded a GSM license covering the whole of Iraq, deploying Inclarity's gateway across the country. — (menareport.com)
