International telecom cabling conference in Dubai

The BICSI Middle East Conference will be held at the Al-Bustan Rotana Hotel, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on September 28-29, 2002. This is the first conference offered in the Middle East by BICSI, the International Telecommunications Association.  

 

Dedicated to advancing the careers of telecommunications infrastructure designers and installers, BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International) is a non-profit association, which serves the industry with standards-based technical publications, training, registration exams, and educational events. 

 

“The conference is set to give attendees a unique perspective on the future shape of the global telecommunications cabling industry and an opportunity to learn more about the Middle East and its cabling and networking market,” Kandasamy Ganesan, BICSI district secretary, said. 

 

Speakers, representing diverse companies and various aspects of the industry, from Brazil, Egypt, India, Iran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan, South Africa, UAE, UK and USA will be addressing the participants. Conference sessions will also provide generic technical information, on topics related to telecommunications infrastructure. — (menareport.com)
