Bahrain-based Investcorp has acquired Minimax Holding, an international fire protection systems specialist, based in Germany.
Founded in 1902, Minimax provides products, which range from simple fire extinguishers to complex automatic extinguishing systems, to prevent, detect and fight fires in properties such as commercial buildings, industrial sites, chemical plants, hospitals and ships. Its list of clients include Siemens, BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Vodafone and Airbus.
Investcorp is a global investment group with offices in Bahrain, London and New York. The firm has four lines of business: corporate investment, real estate investment, asset management and technology investment. It was established in 1982 and has since completed transactions with an aggregate value of approximately $25 billion.
In Europe, Investcorp and its clients currently own corporate investments that include Avecia, Gerresheimer Glas and Welcome Break. In the United States, Investcorp and its clients currently own corporate investments that include Aero, PlayPower and MW Manufacturers. — (menareport.com)
