Eng. Basem Rousan Minister of Information and Communications Technology inaugurated - CrysTelCall - the first independent contact center in Jordan. The inauguration was followed by a press conference attended by the company’s board members and local press. The event was held on Sunday May 27th, 2007 at CrysTelCall’s offices situated in Al Abdali.
The project - whose investment size will be JOD 5 million over five years - will result in employing 600 agents dedicated to serving clients 24 hours a day. Furthermore, the center will provide a full range of services to various companies in different market segments across the globe. These services consist of: Inbound and Outbound Contact Services via phone, fax, email and chat, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and consulting, which are customized to help clients achieve their outsourcing objectives. The center will provide its services in multiple languages including Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
“Jordan offers all the right ingredients necessary for the Offshore/Nearshore Contact Center Industry to flourish, including the availability of skilled labor at competitive wages as well as a robust telecommunications infrastructure,” said Eng Basem Rousan the Minister of Information and Communications Technology. Eng Rousan also reaffirmed “the Ministry will continue working towards positioning Jordan as the primary outsourcing destination in the region”.
