iPIX and Soroof International form iPIX International

Multi-media imaging solutions company, iPIX International has chosen Dubai Internet City to be the site of its international headquarters, with a satellite office in London, running the company's business interests outside North America, Japan and China. 

 

A formal inauguration of the headquarters is to be made during GITEX, the regional exhibition for the information technology (IT) industry, being held in Dubai from October 13-17. iPIX International is a joint venture between iPIX and Soroof International, a Saudi Arabia-based Group of companies focused on core technology/industry investment and technology transfer.  

 

President and CEO of Soroof International, Bander Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al-Saud, is to be Chairman and Tim Brookes, previously senior vice president of Internet Pictures Corporation, is to be CEO of iPIX International. From Dubai, iPIX International will develop and manage the iPIX business outside North America, Japan and China through the exclusive distributor for iPIX Immersive still products, including the iPIX GPS Mapping System.
