The installation of a 6,400-ton natural gas drilling platform was completed at Iran’s offshore South Pars gas field, 105-kilometers off Assalouyeh port. The facility, Iran’s largest offshore installation, includes units for gas separation, condensation, dehumidification and desalination, reported IRNA.
Assalouyeh port is located 270 kilometers southeast of Bushehr, southern Iran, on the Persian Gulf. South Pars gas field is shared by Iran and Qatar and is one of the largest gas fields in the world. — (menareport.com)
