Iran Introduces 13 New Technologies in Pharmaceutical Industry

Secretary of Headquarters to Develop Biotechnology Mostafa Qane’ei revealed the production of 13 new technologies in the pharmaceutical field.

Turning to salient achievement taken in meeting pharmaceutical needs in the country, he said, “with the coordination made in this regard, a number of 13 new technologies have been produced in pharmaceutical field in less than a year, the issue of which shows significant progress of the country in this regard.”

Statistics show that more than 40 students in PhD degree are busy active in this field, so that they have achieved numerous achievements furtherly, he maintained.

Once research and development (R&D) field is taken serious consideration, the country will achieve considerable progresses in all scientific fields in the country, he opined.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he called on all responsible officials in the country to take effective steps in line with supporting research and development (R&D) projects in the country.

He revealed the pioneering role of the country in the field of producing biotech medicines and drugs and added, “we should make our utmost efforts to improve production of biomedicines.”
