Iran, Kyrgyzstan to cooperate on food industry

The establishment of a joint food production plant and means of sharing food industry expertise between Iran and Kyrgystan was suggested at a recent meeting in Iran. Attending the meeting were Asanbek Osmonaliyev, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgystan, and the Chairman of Board of Directors of Iran’s Food Industry Studies Center, Behrooz Forountan, reports IRNA

 

The Kyrgyz Minister expressed his belief that his country could benefit tremendously with the help of Iranian food processing know-how. He suggested that direct relations be maintained between the two countries’ food experts, as well as the construction of a food manufacturing plant. 

 

The Iranian official responded positively to the suggestion, adding that the two ought to exchange scientific and research data in the area of food production as well. — (MENA Report)
