Iranian tourism in need of $16 billion Investment

The First Deputy Head of Iran’s Travel and Tourism Organization (ITTO) Nasrullah Mostowfi said that a total of $16 billion has to be invested in tourism promotion over the next 15 years, reported IRNA.  

 

Mostowfi added that this volume of investment is expected to earn the country $50 billion from tourism receipts. He noted that Iran's tourism industry required 2,000 billion Iranian riyals in credit annually to provide for the implementation of various tourist projects. — (menareport.com)
