Iraq: 10,000 apartments to be built

According to <i>Al-Zamman</i> newspaper, specialized engineering, financial and legal committees at the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research met in Baghdad University recently. The goal of this meeting was to conduct negotiations with an Iranian company to build 10,000 apartments for the Iraqi universities and the ministry's staffs.

 

Sources estimated at 2,000 units the University of Baghdad's share of these apartments. It was also agreed to build these apartments based on high technical standards. Until now, the related partied have not chosen the site for this building project.
