A recent report by an Iraqi newspaper has indictaed that a total of 26 power generators will be distributed soon to hospitals and other facilities in the southern city of Basra. These generators along with 12 others were purchased by the Iraqi government using a British donation of $5 million meant directly for the improvement of essential services in the southern districts.
In a related development, another newspaper conveyed that improvements were made in additional power supply projects across the country. These improvements were mainly reported in Al-Harthah, Al-Taji, Mosul, and Al-Musayyab power plants.
