An authorized source at the Iraqi trade ministry said that the foreign economic relations department has participated at the meetings of the committee, which was formed to study trade pacts with Romania.
The source added, according to Aahali newspaper, that the department evaluated the economic relationships and recommended to sign new agreements in the economic, scientific and cultural domains to-boost cooperation between the two nations.
The source also said that currently the department is preparing a cooperation agreement in trade and economy with the republic of Argentine. This will be integrant to the agreement that was signed in 1977. He also said that a similar agreement is being prepared with regard to Iran.
