According to <i>Al-Mendhar</i> newspaper, the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has recently launched a number of big investment projects. The ministry is expected to pump ID 10 billion in these projects over the next two years.
Mr. Makram Saeed, Maintenance Manager in the Ministry, said that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs was committed to reconstructing and repairing all of its units in all Iraqi districts. These facilities were severely ruined during the war, the official said. Accompanied by her staff, the Minister of Labor, Mrs. Layla Abdul Latif, visited some of these projects.
